Hi, I’m Amara 👩🏽‍💻

I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Media Studies with a minor in African American Studies while writing and editing for The Daily Californian.

I love telling stories that explore the intersections of sports, racial justice, culture, and community. My reporting has appeared in The Dial Magazine, The Nation, New York Amsterdam News, The Daily Californian, and other publications.
